I have uploaded a picture of a card that I have made. It uses white stock card, paper, Stained glass flower stamp, distress inks and other stamps. It is in the album - Something different.
It has a lift in that on the front of the card is a large tab that is attached by ribbon, and when lifted has a message underneath.
After making your basic card, I used shabby shutters distress ink (TIM21490) to colour the majority of the front card. I then selected a plain green paper and used some stamps from the swirls set to make a contrast on the corners, again using shabby shutters distress ink. In the centre I stamped the LOVE stamp to create a message - this could be anything that fits with your design. The flap on the front is made from a smaller square of white card, again distressed using shabby shutters.and another smaller square, distressed using shabby shutters, but using different stamps to create the outside edges. I then stamped my front image and coloured it in using Adirondack pens and a water colour brush. the ribbon is attached to the rear, when connecting the flap to the main card insure that you use the loop at the top and that it is glued/attached above ther front flap - so that the front can be lifted.
