Poor Alan - spare a thought... He's in Brisbane at the moment and, after travelling all that way, it's STILL raining!!!! Not as cold as here, mind, but still..... :rolleyes:

He's back on the 23rd November - and I'm counting the minutes! Meeting up would be great, and we'll definitely arrange something once he's home.

The rain appears to have stopped, though. Just had a text from him saying it's "hot as heck" now! I'm so pleased for him, it's such a shame to go on holiday and have rotten weather... :)

Bet you are looking forward to him coming home. That's a long time to be apart. Yes, really glad the weather has cheered up for him. I didn't think it ever rained in Australia!!! :cool:

It is a long time to be away from him. Normally we spend each weekend together, with lots and lots of phone calls in the week. He can't phone as much while he's away, because of the sheer cost of the calls, so it's taking a huge amount of getting used to, only being able to talk to him once or twice a week.

Mind you - it's giving me a chance to do all sorts of girly wedding planning. I'm going shopping next week with Laura, my best friend (and Matron of Honour), to hunt for a dress. Hee hee!!! :D :D
